Membership.

Phi Theta Kappa is not a fraternity or sorority.

Despite ï»¿the Greek name, we are not "Greek life", we are also not a "club". As such membership is different than other organizations you might find on campus. Membership is based primarily on your academic achievements and you must have a 3.5 GPA of at least 12 credit-hours to be eligible. Our advisor, Julie Bollerud, is notified automatically of all newly eligible students, and invitations to join the Society are sent out every semester. There is a small, one time fee to join but the benefits are well worth it!

If you have not received an invitation for any reason, or if you have but have not joined yet, you are still more than welcome to join us. Almost all the events that we carry out, whether they be games, trips, or service you are welcome to attend.

If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact us.
